We are sisters that grew up in different decades with completely different personal styles, but we both enjoy finding a bargain and having fun with fashion. We don’t spend lots of time and money on clothing, but we like to work with what we have, be creative, and share style ideas and tips.

White Top and a Tee

Years ago, it was a fashion faux pas to wear white after labor day and before Easter. Well, nowadays women wear white whenever the heck they want, but Little Sis and I think that a favorite white top (whether it's a tee or a blouse) is the perfect wardrobe piece for these balmy, bloom-filled afternoons. Add a few accessories and your favorite jeans, and you've got a simple, cute look that will make you feel like springing into spring.

Little Sis: I bought this casual collared blouse at Kohl's a few weeks ago and I enjoy pairing it with my favorite high waited shorts or my floral detailed blue jeans. I usually complete the outfit with my go-to pair of strappy, white summer sandals and a few small pieces of jewelry. These two outfits are totally my style; simple, casual, and easy.

Big Sis: So, I found these floral Converse look-alikes at Factory-2-U for $5.99! I think they're a steal. I wore them to liven up my simple white tee, jeans, and chambray top.

To create a look that's a little less casual, I threw a sky blue sparrow and butterfly patterned infinity scarf ($4.99 at Walmart) over my favorite tee. A lightweight spring scarf is a fun and inexpensive way to liven up a simple outfit like this one.

I found some a cute example of how to pull off jeans and a white tee on Love Maegan. I love how she accessorizes her simple outfit, don't you?
