Winter by the Beach
Here in Arizona (or at least central Arizona) we don't often need heavy jackets, scarves, long sleeves, and boots. Heck, we pretty much wear flip-flops and t-shirts all year long. So, this is what a winter outfit looks like to me; a light top, a cozy sweater, jeans, and flats. I know that in Southern California (one of my favorite places to be) winter weather is fairly mild, so the set colors were inspired by sandy beaches, water, and sky. Wouldn't this be a nice outfit to wear while strolling a boardwalk in December? :)

Navy and Aqua
Casual Aqua and Navy by fun-to-wear featuring chunky jewelry
Below are some of my favorite navy and aqua outfits, items, and interior design ideas.
Love these navy wed leg jeans and the way that her dark green bag pulls the outfit together.
The aqua couch with the navy pillows are fantastic. The room pulls off a both modern and retro look.
This is maybe the 6th photo of Zooey Deschanel I've posted on my blog. I can't help it. She's got style.
I love ALL of these pillows and wish that they were sitting on my couch right now.
This cute casual bag is just one of the many adorable bags in the Blucalla Etsy shop.
This understated chevron aqua, navy, and gray phone case would make a great accessory.
Wouldn't this throw pillow from FestiveHomeDecor on Etsy be a pretty addition to the pile of pillows above?

White Denim
Big Sis: It's 112 degrees today and so my daydreams are taking me to far off places (like December and January) where someone like me can wear coats, jackets, and jeans to their heart's content. I created this outfit on Polyvore with a white denim jacket, just to remind me of better weather to come. Also, though I can't wear one right now, I'm loving the white denim jacket look. This versatile piece can look casual or dressy, and can bring a cute, crisp look to any outfit.

Teal and Coral by fun-to-wear featuring plus size tops
Glee's Diana Agron wears her jacket with a flowy, knee length dress and summery sandals. I love the dark blue and crisp white together.
The white denim jacket looks cute and casual with khaki shorts and a ruffled top.
I never would have thought about pairing this jacket with a white shirt, but with the necklace for contrast, it really works!
Maxi dress + this jacket = the perfect look for a casual night out or lunch with friends.
These celebrities rock their white denim jackets. Doesn't Jessica Alba look cute in that scarf? ...sigh. I'll just stand under a fan for a little while, clothes my eyes, and pretend it's fall.
If you live someplace with nice, cool weather, or just want to prepare for fall, this jacket is available at Target for $24.99. You know the fashion advice that says never wear white after Labor Day? Ingnore it! :)

Blue China Floral
Big Sis: One of the most charming trends I've seen this year is the use of blue
china-inspired floral in both fashion and interior design. The pattern makes me
long for tea parties with Parisian scones and delicate porcelain cups. So pretty.
The Gucci Floral Hobo Bag in this set is waaay to expensive for me to even think
about buying, but I love it anyway.

White and Royal Blue by fun-to-wear featuring lacey tops
Here are some of my favorite blue china floral pieces and inspirations:
Look at these nails! Aren't they gorgeous! Unfortunately, if I attempted this, my nails would be sporting abstract blue and white blobs. But, if I were a nail artist, this pattern would be on my fingertips ASAP.
These looks created for Erdem's most recent collection, offer up a beautiful dose of china blue floral. I love the traditional blue top with the patterned A-line skirt.
I would happily line the walls of any room in my house with this beautiful pale gray/blue paper. I'd start with my bedroom.
This charming embellished heart necklace from Etsy is actually made from broken pieces of a 100 year old vintage china plate. The lucky owner of this necklace will be wearing a piece of history around her neck. Love this.
I can't forget about this super cute tank top from Walmart that Little Sis wore a few weeks back. It looks great with the bright lemon yellow.
This blue floral silk and eyelet dress from Bluefly is delicate, pretty, and perfect for summer.

Orange and Blue
Orange and Blue by fun-to-wear featuring an enamel bracelet
This orange and blue combo (from Design in Bloom) uses darker, more muted tones, and would make for an adorable fall ensemble.
I snapped a photo of this beautiful orange and blue mosaic table and set of chairs on the patio of a Greek cafe. This color combo was actually very common in Greek art and interior design.

Weekend Wear
Big Sis: There's nothing I love to wear more than a cute and comfy baseball tee
with jeans, flip flops, and a baseball cap. It's a low maintenance look and
my ideal weekend wear. Where can you find a comfy, well worn baseball
tee? Look in your nearest thrift store (I saw no less than 5 while shopping last week.)
Be sure to check the guy's section also for a bigger selection.

Lucky Girl
Lucky Girl by fun-to-wear featuring leather tote bags
Big Sis: I created this outfit on Polyvore in preparation for St. Patty's Day. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just download an outfit off the internet (for free) with just the click of a button? If that were possible, I would surely be wearing the above outfit this weekend. With that much green, I'd definitely avoid those painful pinches.
