Winter by the Beach

Here in Arizona (or at least central Arizona) we don't often need heavy jackets, scarves, long sleeves, and boots. Heck, we pretty much wear flip-flops and t-shirts all year long. So, this is what a winter outfit looks like to me; a light top, a cozy sweater, jeans, and flats. I know that in Southern California (one of my favorite places to be) winter weather is fairly mild, so the set colors were inspired by sandy beaches, water, and sky. Wouldn't this be a nice outfit to wear while strolling a boardwalk in December? :)

Summer Brights

Big Sis: Coral and magenta together? Yes, I say! Add some turquoise and
you've got three of the summer's hottest colors in a very cute, wearable
burnt-out stripe pattern. This Ella Moss top, which just happens to cost about
$135 more than I'm willing to pay for a shirt, allows for some very colorful
accessorizing. Though I wouldn't buy this lovely top, it inspired me to think
about pairing magenta and coral up in my wardrobe.

Chambray and White Denim

Big Sis: I made this on Polyvore today because I saw a woman
yesterday at the store wearing a chambray shirt with white jeans
and pops of color. I wanted to re-create the look, with a few tweaks.
The best part about the outfit is that the shoes, purse, ring, earrings, and
chambray top are all under $30!
